Common questions

What is radon?

Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas that can build up inside buildings. It cannot be seen or smelled, so testing is the only way to know the level in your building.

What level of radon is a problem?

The EPA recommends taking action to reduce radon at 4 picocuries per liter (pCi/L) or higher. We will explain your results and what they mean for your property.

Should I test when buying a home?

Yes, radon testing is a common part of a real estate transaction. We can coordinate timing so you have results when you need them.

How fast can you get on site?

For most Metro and Front Range addresses we can usually schedule within a day or two, and same day for urgent circumstances. For projects further away we can still usually schedule faster than most firms, and we will tell you honestly what we can do.

Where do you work?

We are based in Lakewood and serve the Denver metro area, the mountains and the Western Slope across Colorado, plus select neighboring states.
