Asbestos Services

Asbestos Inspection & Testing in Denver and Across Colorado

Certified inspectors, air monitoring and final clearances for renovation, demolition, real estate and abatement projects. Clear reports, and we handle the permit paperwork.

What we do

Asbestos inspections

Pre-renovation and pre-demolition surveys, and inspections for real estate transactions. We sample suspect building materials and report what contains asbestos and where.

Spill delineations

When asbestos-containing material has been disturbed, we define the extent of the affected area so the cleanup is scoped correctly.

Air monitoring

Background, ambient and personal air monitoring, with onsite PCM analysis to support OSHA requirements.

PCM and TEM clearances

After abatement, a final air clearance confirms the work area is ready to reopen. Onsite PCM results let most contractors move forward the same day.

Project designs and management plans

Asbestos project designs and management plans, written to keep your project regulation-compliant from scope to sign-off.

Abatement oversight

Independent oversight of the abatement contractor, with personal air monitoring and the final clearance, through sign-off.

Common questions

Do I need an asbestos inspection before demolition?

In Colorado, yes. Regulation 8 requires an inspection by a certified building inspector before most renovation or demolition work that could disturb building materials. We handle the inspection and the paperwork that goes with the permit.

How fast can you get on site?

For most Metro and Front Range addresses we can usually schedule within a day or two, and same day for urgent circumstances. For projects further away we can still usually schedule faster than most firms, and we will tell you honestly what we can do.

How long do lab results take?

Onsite PCM clearance results come back the same day. For other analyses, turnaround depends on the laboratory option you choose, from same day on many tests to a week or two for others. We confirm turnaround when we scope the job.

Do you work with contractors and insurance companies?

Yes. We work directly with insurance companies and indirectly through homeowner policies, and with builders, developers, flippers and anyone doing work that may disturb hazardous materials.

Where do you work?

We are based in Lakewood and serve the Denver metro area, the mountains and the Western Slope across Colorado, plus select neighboring states.
