DS Consulting, Inc. performed lead sampling and lead mitigation over-site for a project to remove lead paint from a 200 foot, 150,000 gallon water tank.
~Former Lowry Air Force Base- Denver, CO
DS Consulting, Inc. collected over 8,500 soil samples for suspect asbestos contaminated materials (ACM) at the Northwest Neighborhood, part of the former Lowry Air-Force Base. DS Consulting, Inc. performed surface soil inspections and sampled soil to 8-feet in depth using both auger drilling and direct-push technology (DPT). Continuous core were logged using DPT to investigate potential ACM as well as other debris / contamination at the site.
~Rocky Mountain Arsenal - Denver, CO
Provided engineering and surveying support for URS Construction Services at the Rocky Mountain Arsenal Soil Remediation Project involving excavation of contaminated soils, demolition of building foundations and reclamation of the site, moving a total of 2 million cubic yards. Surveying included the sub-grade demolition and removal of contaminated building foundations, calculating and staking excavation depths in each 40’x40’ grid for soil removal, as well as staking the cut and fill depths to construct the cap and final reclaimed surface topography for this 15 million dollar project.

DS Consulting, Inc. performed building inspections and final report preparation, including all CAD drawings, for the triennial asbestos reinspections of Region 8 Federal Buildings in UT, WY, SD, and CO for the General Services Administration.

~Space Shuttle Recovery - Nacogdoches, TX
Gathered and analyzed field data, prepared technical reports and provided specialized environmental consulting and public relations services for the cleanup efforts of hazardous materials on NASA’s Columbia Space Shuttle Recovery Mission in Nacogdoches, Texas. This project encompassed surveying and inspecting 2,500 square miles of search area on public and private lands for hazardous materials ranging from explosives and ordinances to human remains.
